Paldiski

Paldiski, a town with a population of 4000, was controlled by the Russian military forces until 1993. A Soviet naval base and a training center for atomic submarine personnel were situated here. In 1718 construction of the naval port started, and since then Paldiski has remained a military town. Today the town is open to visitors. Paldiski looks highly exotic with its super-Soviet architecture and Russian culture. It's worth seeing.
