In Koh Phayam there are about ten bungalow resorts, but not so many rooms. There are 2 roads crossing the island and when you arrive there you can get a bike ride to one of the resorts for about 100 baht per person. There is a Aow Yai in Koh Phayam as well, but the boat will not leave you there because the sand banks in front of the cost are considered dangerous for navigation. In Aow Yai there is a resort, Aow Yai Bungalows, managed by Gilles and Phatchara, a French-Thai couple. As I said, being Koh Phayam a more "classy" place, you can find some more comforts at the Aow Yai Bungalow.
