Aspö

In Stockholm's archipelago there are three islands named Aspö. They are all in the southern part of the archipelago and have transportation with Vaxholmsbolaget. The above Aspö is a real pearl, unknown to most people. It is situated just north of Nåttaröpärla alldeles norr om Nåttarö. The island has no hostels or camping sites, but it has summer cottages, most of them on the western side, wher you also will find the public dock. The island have attractive walking trails through forests and between the summerhouses.

If you walk across to the eastern side of the island you will find an exciting rocky landscape. Many small islands surround Aspö, but the view towards the open sea is unobstructed. In the SW there are lagoonlike coves, much like in Greece, with delightful little beaches.
