Nynäshamn fishing port is a meeting place for all who wish to explore the archipelago. There are regular boat trips to beautiful islands like Nåttarö and Rånö o Ålö.
The island of Öja, home to Sweden's oldest lighthouse, Landsort, has an authentic archipelago feel about it. Another gem of an island, a little further out into the Baltic, is Gotska Sandön, a national park. The island can be reached by boat from Nynäshamn.

Fishing

The Nynäshamn archipelago is a mecca for anglers - you can catch huge salmon here! lt's also a paradise for those seeking sun and sea. There are many natural bathing places both on the islands and in Nynäshamn itself. And there are many old wrecks for divers to investigate.

A fishing permit is needed for fishing in lakes. In the archipelago fishing is free as long as you don't use nets. Special permits for trolling and angling are needed. Permits can be bought at Intersport at Nynäsvägen in Nynäshamn, phone 520 209 10.
