Sula

The island Sula is located S Ålesund, and it takes only 10 minutes by ferry. Two other  important ferry harbours, Solavågen to Festøya and Sulasund to Hareid, puts Sula in the middle of the region.

Sula is the most recent addition to the counties in Møre and Romsdal, established in 1977. 58 km² makes Sula one of the smallest of counties, but also one of the most densly populated, 7000 people makes 119 people per km². Sula is known as the county of music, Brazz Bros, Annbjørg Lien m.fl.
