Son Parc

A small and fairly quiet resort between Fornells and Arenal d'en Castell, and has the Islands only golf course [9 holes but is being extended up to 18] Surrounded by pine trees, and overlooking a beautiful beach of fine sand, backed by sand dunes and the warm and very shallow sea ideal for young children to paddle and play in,  there is plenty to offer the visitor. A small commercial area is home to a few bars, restaurants and shops.

mama mias			serves Italian, Spanish and the usual steaks etc. It is run by a group of French women(?). They are all lovely to look at - so the place is always busy.
Sagitarios			Steaks, etc., fish - lovely food!
Pink panther			Snacks - very cheap and huge portions. Kebabs with 2 eggs, salad and chips= 650 pesetas (as at 2000). The service is a bit slow but who cares!.
C'en Pipa			The best food by far in Son Parc is in the restaurant adjacent to Sagitarios and reflected in the numbers and greater affluence of its diners
Half Moon			A fantastic pub to visit while your there is the  run by Drew & Zoe (both from England). They are very friendly lovely people and its a great night out. They do a good selection of food ie; Ribs, scampi, curry, burgers and real english bacon..... Most nights they hold competitions like Who wants to be a millionaire or there is live music or you can watch football, motor racing on the large screen satallite tv. The have a decent pool table and hold games of killer ect.... All in all a great pub that once youv'e found your'll want to go back to time and time again. It's situated just a few minutes walk from the sunset strip down the road towards the spar.  They are also very  ready for the mosquito's that sometimes come with the area( due to the tree's) and have nets up at the windows, fans and mosquito / fly killer electric machines up on the ceiling. So you can actually sit back and relax instead of worrying about being eaten by these pesky bugs
