Cala'n Bosc |
A good medium sized and quite busy resort. Which within the centre is a small marina around which is the commercial centre where you will find most of the bars, restaurants and shops this resort has to offer. With one large hotel with a few apartment complex's, and a couple of good sized beaches Cala'n Bosch is a favourite with many holiday makers.
Cala'n Bosch has a brand new marina (tel. 382616) with 2-metre soundings and 216 places about 5 miles south of Ciutadella and is accessible for motor-powered boats of up to 8 metres and masts under 8 meters, since there is a pedestian 'bridge' across the canal. In the resort is a supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars.

Eating Leli's near the little bridge. they were extremely welcoming and were quite happy to adjust the menu to suit. I'd recommend the Hake (if you like garlic) and the roast lamb. Mr Jaume The food here was average, as was the service. Vowed not to return, the best part was the harbour side location but there are many restaurants with just as good views. Avanti This was the best restaurant in the locality, especially if you have children. The service here is just perfect and very family friendly, well worth a visit and returning to as we did. this place is a little more expensive but well worth it. The staff are friendly and the food is great. The steaks are to die for and the kebabs , 'brochettes', are great. Situated along the harbour means you also have lovely views whilst eating. The main restaurant is in Ciutadella and the place the real spanish people go to. Piccola Pizzeria next to the Goody Goody Park at the marina. Service and food were excellent. We were also treated to a display of pizza making by their resident "pizza man" Umberto. My 4 year old daughter loved this especially. Goody Goody Park provides a safe place for the kids to play while the adults can enjoy an inexpensive snack and a drink. Princesa Playa provides entertainment for all the family every night. Britannia an English bar, provides a really good atmosphere at night with the resident duo Joyride Other companies
