Cala Macarella toward Cala Macarelleta

 

Cala Macarella, on the flat south coast. a beautiful, cala, this is every yachtsman's dream of how a cove should be. White cliffs and crystal clear, turqoise water, fine, golden sands in a tiny cove and a larger sweep on the opposite bank. The only man-made feature at your disposal here is a bar-restaurant, concealed in the pine woods of the larger beach.

Macarella and Mararelleta are pair of extremely picturesque pine fringed cove's. Approachable also by car, if the landowner so permits, take the outer ring road at Cuidadella, or trek by foot from Cala Galdana [quite a long walk]. Beach bar and sun beds etc. for hire. Take a five min walk around the cliff to Macarelleta, a naturist beach, well worth the visit. Don't take anything with you, swim back.
