St. Julian's Bay has kept the charm and atmosphere it had as a fishing village. There are cafes on a promenade at sea level. Further up are restaurants, and some nice shops, around the bay and the village square.

Paceville offers a vibrant night life with restaurants, bars and clubs and a cinema complex, which are extremely popular with young people from all over the island. St. George's Bay, further round the coast from Paceville has beach lidos and Malta's Casino on Dragonara Point.
