Bågaskär

On Bågaskär there is passport control and Customs clearance. The Customs channel approaches from the open sea of Porkkala to Inkoo along a 13.0 m-channel. At the middle of the open sea the channel going to Bågaskär winds to the west. The safety devices of the channel are equipped with powerful reflectors so that it is possible to navigate in the dark using a searchlight. A pilot cabin has stood on the island since as early as 1857.
