West Estonian Archipelago Reserve

The reserve includes 4000km2 of land on the major islands, hundreds of tiny islets and the mainland. Certified by UNESCO as a participant in its biosphere program in 1990, the Reserve has been set aside as a "landscape for learning" meant to develop the skills of natural and social scientists.
