Orjaku in Estonia |
The island of Kassari, home to Orjaku harbour, is also home to many thickets, dunelands and fertile fields. It would be difficult to find a place in Estonia better suited for a quiet restful vacation. A hiking tour along the marked trail will take you to the most beautiful nooks of Orjaku. Gourmet food lovers might dine at the restaurant of the Liilia hotell at Käina, providing the best cuisine in Hiiumaa. Many a summer was spent on Kassari by the Finnish-Estonian author Aino Kallas (1878 Viipuri - 1956 Helsinki).
