Nigula Nature Reserve in Estonia

Created in 1957, Nigula Nature Reserve is home to 4900 protected species on 3031 ha of restricted land. A path has been built through the bog to one of the major islands so that visitors can enjoy the park with a minimum of impact. Call in advance, as entering the bog area is permitted only with a staff member and the number of visitors may be restricted.
