Klintholm harbour

The harbour was built by Klintholm Estate in 1878. The purpose was to be able to ship the farming- and forestry products of the estate. The intention also was to establish a shipping line to Germany which was not realised. The harbour became very expensive for the estate, for which reason it was transferred to the municipality in 1918. - In May, 1986 the new yachting harbour with the holiday hotel was built. Today the old harbour is an efficient fishing harbour, and the yachting harbour with 250 berths and 80 apartments is full every summer.
