Juelsminde

The Juelsminde peninsula is one of the most beautiful areas of countryside anywhere in Denmark. The area provides a wealth of opportunities that will ensure you an excellent holiday whether your tastes run to delightful, sandy beaches facing out towards the cleanest water in Denmark, to bike trips and walks in the countryside of East Jutland or to enjoying a holiday full of activity, be it water sports or on dry land. And if this isn't enough, there are lots of excellent shops and enticing places to eat out, often featuring seafood specialties.

The accommodation available in the area caters to all budgets and all tastes, ranging from delightful holiday homes to camping sites and from hotels to youth and family hostels and private B&B. For visitors aboard their own boat, Juelsminde, Snaptun and Rosenvold provide a total of three modern marinas to choose from, with excellent facilities housed in new amenities buildings.

There are also excellent opportunities for angling from the shoreline and in the lakes in the Juelsminde area. The Tourist Information Office has all the necessary details about the best places to make a good catch.

Juelsminde Golf Club has an 18-hole course on a beautiful site with excellent views out across the blue waters of the Kattegat.

Juelsminde is situated in the heart of Denmark, right in between two of the most beautiful fjords in the country. It's easy to get here, whatever your chosen mode of transport, and Juelsminde is not far from some of the most popular tourist attractions in Jutland Legoland and the Givskud Safari Park. And the attractive old towns of Horsens and Vejle are less than half an hour's drive away.

The countryside around Juelsminde provides a wealth of recreational and sporting activities right throughout the year.
