Lavezzi Islands

From Corsica to Sardinia, a few kilometres separate these isles but many sailors have broken their ship on these terrible stumbling blocks as attest the sea cementary of Furcone and of the Archiarino and the memory of the wreck of The Semillante in 1855 during which 750 men died.

Since that the Lighthouse of Lavezzi watches over this strait and these magnificent Isles of granite.
