Prices tend to be a little higher than in Vilnius, but hey you're on vacation. The lines that separate restaurants, cafés and bars are hard to discern, which means that it's perfectly OK for you to eat a meal, drink a beer and/or wait for a menu at any of them. Night life options include watching the stars, sleeping, throwing a party, checking out one of the few discos, wandering aimlessly along the lagoon path or singing karaoke.

Some classify this as this best restaurant in Nida. Perhaps this is true especially since they offer a few interesting dishes like chilli and garlic soup. Their eel dish is delightful. Watch out for the 10% service fee. Find the restaurant behind the Jurate hotel. |

Great views of the spit from this weird-yet-interesting glass-enclosed thatch hut. The structure itself is very Polynesian even though it's made out of the same stuff as all of the Nida roofs. Great for a drink. |

The Prussian Palace pays homage to the Prussians who once lived in the area. Chicken and fish are the main dishes on the menu. Prussian used to eat pigeons. They killed them by biting the bird's neck. Their fish catching methods were a bit less sensational - they used nets. See pictures of these killing and catching techniques on the wall and then dig into your own poultry or fish dish. |

An excellent garden cafe with an obliging staff and well-prepared Lithuanian dishes. Recommended as the place to start your vacation in Nida, it'll really put you in the mood. Weird hit-and-miss service. |

Always popular for fresh smoked fish. Right on the lagoon, this is a nice place to spend a long evening of drinking and eating. The plastic patio furniture should be done away with.

Hide behind a wall of greenery in this garden cafe right next door to the Ethnographic Museum. Try to stop here for a leisurely lunch or at least a beverage. You'll feel like you're visiting friends. Often crowded. We like to have blynai for breakfast here. |
