Nature Reserve established in 1974. Near the Swedish border, 22600 ha, an offshore archipelago and surrounding sea area consisting of 50 mostly treeless islands. The main island consists of extensive deciduous forest, meadows and a small mire. The site supports a diverse and bird fauna, is an important breeding area for several species of sea birds, and is an important feeding and wintering area for White-tailed Eagles (Haliaetus albicilla). A bird-ringing station is located on Signilskär Island.
