Velkua is half an hour car journey from Naantali, on boat routes, and with good connections to the mainland. You can “sail” over to Velkua by bike or car on the ferry. In Teersalo there is a guest harbour, a restaurant, as well as bed and breakfast accommodation for every taste.
You can get tourist information at the Kummeli multifunction center. On the island of Palva there is the small wooden St. Henrik's church, a perfect site for summer weddings. Velkua offers excellent clean fishing waters. And you can fish throughout the year. Make a day trip to Velkua, or stay for a while.
